| Luton Shelton to join squad for Olympic qualifiers |

Jamaica's international footballer,
Luton Shelton of
English championship team Sheffield United, is due in the island Monday evening.Shelton is slated to join the national under-23 Olympic squad which departs on Tuesday for Haiti to participate in Group H of the Caribbean second round qualification for the 2008 Olympics. Shelton and Belgium based Rafe Wolfe, who joined the squad last week, are the overseas players in the squad which will face Bahamas on Thursday and host Haiti on Saturday. Haiti and Bahamas will meet Tuesday in the opening game of the group from which the winner will progress to the CONCACAF final round where two teams qualify to the 2008 Olympics. |
