The Jamaica Urban Transit Company was scheduled Friday
afternoon resume limited operations on some routes.The JUTC says limited service means there will be one or two buses operating on each route. The company says regular service will resume Saturday morning. While, the island's two international airports reopened late Friday afternoon with the first three international flights landing in the island since the closure of the airports on Thursday. Chairman of the Airports Authority Mark Hart told our news centre that two flights arrived in Montego Bay, while others were expected at the Norman Manley International Airport. However, some Air Jamaica and American Airlines flights have been cancelled and regular schedule were not expected to resume until Saturday. |
