RJR news has been reliably informed that Superintendent
James Forbes is no longer at the top security post at the Port Authority of
Jamaica (PAJ). Reports surfaced on Friday that Superintendent Forbes who was seconded from the Jamaica Constabulary Force in 2003 will no longer oversee security operations at ports of entry. It was not immediately clear why Superintendent Forbes is no longer with the Authority. Our sources were unable to confirm reports that the senior officer was dismissed by the management. Chairman of the PAJ Noel Hylton was unavailable for comment but his assistant confirmed that Mr. Forbes is no longer with the Authority. Superintendent Forbes who was Vice President of Security and Operation once headed the Constabulary Communication Network, the main communication arm of the police force. |
