On a day when 13
wickets fell, Australia were 35 without loss in their second innings, an
overall lead of 70 runs on day two of the third and final test against the West
Indies at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on Friday.Australia resuming the day on 226 for 7 were dismissed for 251. Fidel Edwards ended with 3 for 55, Jerome Taylor 3 for 46 and Dwayne Bravo 3 for 61. Shivnarine Chanderpaul struck an unbeaten 79 and Xavier Marshall 39 as the West Indies were dismissed for 216. Their last six wickets went for 48 runs. Australia's Mitchell Johnson ended with test best figures of 4 for 41 and Brett Lee 3 for 64. |
