Kern Spencer.  Former Junior Minister for Energy Kern Spencer and two co-accused in the Cuban Light Bulb Scandal are scheduled to return to court Friday. The three will appear in the Half Way Tree Criminal Court where the case against them will be mentioned.

Attorney-at-law representing Mr. Spencer Debra Martin said prosecutors are expected to present additional information on the various charges.

"We have gotten disclosure on the material that the Crown had undertaken to give us on the last occasion but what we don't have is a copy of the indictment. We're hoping that today we will be provided with that or be given a time line as to when we'll get it so we know exactly what charges we're to face in trial," said Ms Martin.

Mr. Spencer along with his former Executive Assistant Colleen Wright and businessman Rodney Chin were arrested and charged on February 26 in connection with the Cuban Light Bulb case.

They are accused of conspiracy to defraud as well as breaches of the Money Laundering and Corruption Prevention Acts.

All three had their multi-million dollar bonds extended in March.
