RJR Sports
understands that Jamaican and West Indies
cricketer Marlon Samuels has been found liable of one of two charges bribery
charges. The ruling was made at a hearing held by the West Indies Cricket Board's (WICB's) Code of Ethics and Disciplinary Committee St. Lucia on Friday. The WICB had found sufficient evidence to charge Samuels who is alleged to have provided team information to Indian bookie Mukesh Kochar on the eve of the first one-day international between the West Indies and India in Nagpur on January 21 last year. Samuels could now face a two year ban from international cricket. |
