The former West
Indies under-19 skipper Brenton Parchment has been named captain of a new look Jamaica
squad to face the touring Australian cricketers in a 3 day game starting on Friday
at the Trelawney Multi-Purpose Stadium. Three new faces are also in the line up - former under-19 Vice Captain and opener Simon Jackson, the seamer Neive McNally and the former record holder in schoolboy cricket Shacoya Thomas who recently played at the International Cricket Council's Under-19 World Cup. Completing the squad are Xavier Marshall, Shawn Findlay, Lorenzo Ingram, Carlton Baugh Junior, Donovan Sinclair, Nikita Miller, Andre Dwyer, Gavin Wallace and Andre Russell. |
