Jamaica's top goal
shooter Romelda Aikens continues to score in the Australia
and New Zealand (ANZ) Netball Championships in Australia.She scored 58 goals from 60 attempts as Queensland Firebirds defeated the New South Wales Swifts 66-52 in the sixth round of the championships at the Brisbane Convention Centre. Aikens with 97% accuracy in scoring helped the Firebirds to rally from a 19-15 first quarter deficit to a lead 30-29 at half time. The Firebirds extended their lead to 10 points. |
