Bridgitte Foster-Hylton.  Jamaican Brigitte Foster-Hylton won the 100 meters hurdles in a meet record time of 12.56 seconds at the Qatar Super Athletic meet in Doha Friday.

Lacena Golding-Clarke was fourth in 12.83 seconds.

MVP's Darrel Brown with 10.02 seconds, Michael Frater with 10.08   and Nesta Carter with 10.10 seconds were second, third and fourth respectively in the 100 meters won by Norways Jaysuma Saidy Ndure   in 10.01 seconds.

Sherone Simpson clocking 11.09 seconds and Sherri-Ann Brooks with 11.14 seconds placed second and third respectively in the womens100 meters.

The event was won by Allison Felix of the United States in a meet record and world leading time 10.93 seconds.

This betters Kerron Stewarts' world leading 10.96 seconds set at Saturdays Jamaica International Invitational meet at the National Stadium.

The meet record was held by Jamaica's Beverly McDonald who clocked 10.99 seconds in May 1998.

Felix also ran a meet record and world leading 49.83 seconds to win the 400 meters ahead of Jamaica's Shericka Williams' 50.50 seconds.

Chris Williams' 20.90 seconds and Ainsley Waugh's 21.05 seconds earned them third and fourth respectively in the men's 200 meters won by American Lashawn Merritt in 20.08 seconds.

Danny McFarlane clocked 49.10 seconds and Issa Phillips 49.71 to place second and third respectively in the mens 400 metre hurdles won by South Africa's Louis Van Zyl in 49.03 seconds.

National record holder Dorian Scott was fourth in the men's shot putt with a throw of 20.58 meters.

The event was won with a meet record and world leading throw of 21.48 meters by the American Reese Hoffa.

This betters Scott's world leading throw of 21.45 metres achieved in Florida on March 28.

Korrene Hinds was fourth in the women's 3,000 meters steeplechase in 9 minutes 37.67 seconds.
