Teen killed and two men injured PDF Print

Image  The announcement of additional anti-crime measures did not deter gunmen in sections of the Corporate Area as two shooting incidents were reported late Thursday evening into Thursday night.

The police reported that two men were shot on Belmont Road in St. Andrew shortly after 9pm.    

The injured men were taken to hospital and admitted in stable condition.

Gunmen also struck in downtown Kingston leaving a teenager dead.

The dead youth has been identified as Dwight Allen, 15, of King Street in Kingston.

The police say just before 10pm, residents heard explosions in North Parade and went to investigate.

They found Dwight suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

And the police in St. Andrew Friday morning cordoned off a section of Old Hope and Waterloo Roads in Kingston in the wake of another gun killing.

It is understood that a man was shot there just after 4 am.

RJR News understands that the man was driving his vehicle through the stop light when he was shot by another motorist.

He was taken to the hospital where he died while being treated.
