The Government
has so far raised just over $7 billion to finance the 2008/2009 Budget. The Ministry of Finance said it raked in $7.4 billion from two bonds which were placed on the market. Six point seven billion dollars was collected from a variable rate investment bond which opened on April 16 and closed two days later. Six hundred and forty five million dollars came in from a fixed rate bond which closed on April 28. |
