A
Jamaican fugitive wanted by US prosecutors on drug trafficking charges was
remanded on Tuesday when he appeared in the Half-Way-Tree Criminal Court. Frederick Anthony Tulloch, otherwise called Anthony Dawes and Quan Latious of Hatfield, Ironshore in Montego Bay and Miami, Florida, was arrested on Thursday by members of the Fugitive Apprehension Team. Members of the team searched the house occupied by Tulloch and seized 150 rounds of ammunition along with US$14,000 and JA$72,000. US prosecutors claimed that between November 2005 and March 2006, Mr. Tulloch conspired with others to distribute cocaine in the US. He fled to Jamaica in 2006 following a crack down by US agents. Mr. Tulloch is scheduled to return to court on Friday. |
