Opposition has reservations about plans by the Government to purchase the St. Joseph 's Hospital in
St. Andrew.Opposition Spokesman on Health Dr. Fenton Ferguson said there are questions surrounding the purchase. Dr. Ferguson said while the Opposition awaits the details of the proposed acquisition, it has concerns about the lack of openness, transparency and lack of dialogue on the matter. He has also expressed concern about the wisdom and economic viability of the deal and the security of tenure of the workers. |
