Jamaica
and Caribbean champion Harbour View was sent packing from the CONCACAF Champions
Cup as United States Major League club D.C. United exploited home-field
advantage at the RFK Stadium in Washington
for a 5-nil return quarter final victory
and a 6-1 aggregate score. Devon McTavish and Luciano Emilio scored two goals each for DC United. The team will contest the semi-final against the winner of Wednesday night's return quarter final between defending champion Pachuca of Mexico and - CD Motagua of Honduras, in Hidalgo. Another US team, Houston Dynamo and CSD Municipal Guatemala are also goalless entering their return game in Texas. |
