Belize's new Prime
Minister Dean Barrow officially began the task of running the country on Monday
February 11th by naming his team of Cabinet Ministers.It was his first function since the general election on Thursday February 8th. The new Cabinet will be sworn in on Tuesday February 12th. From the close of polls last Thursday afternoon, supporters of the United Democratic Party (UDP) have been celebrating. Though the UDP has encouraged its supporter's celebrations, it served notice that the job of governing the country would not be easy. |
