 High Court Judge Mrs. Marva McIntosh has granted Cash
Plus a nine-day injunction preventing the National Commercial Bank (NCB) from
closing its accounts. Lawyers representing the alternative investment scheme went to court after Cash Plus officials accused local commercial banks of conspiring against it. They say the banks are refusing to cash customers' cheques and are moving to close down its accounts. The Jamaica Bankers Association has denied being a part of any such conspiracy. |
