![]() Paul Francis. Bruce James, Club President says Paul Francis suffered multiple fractures to his right leg, from the accident which occurred on the Spanish Town leg of Highway 2000. "The surgery was apparently successful but there are still a number of steps we have to take to save his right leg so we're having him transferred to a hospital in Kingston where he will continue to receive treatment and hopefully make a full recovery," said James. ![]() Stephen Francis. Together they have conditioned Olympic and world champions including Melaine Walker and Shelly-Ann Fraser along with former 100 metre world record holder Asafa Powell. Paul Francis, 44, was driving in the vicinity of the overhead bridge on March Pen Road close to midnight when the accident occurred. According to the police, he lost control of his Honda Accord motor car, which crashed through the rails and careened into the wall separating the dual highway. The car then collided with another car carrying two other persons, travelling in the same direction. All three persons were seriously injured. |
