Jamaica's reigning sprint king Usain Bolt has identified an heir to his throne.

Bolt says club mate Yohan Blake is one who could carry Jamaica's flag in the sprints in the near future.

Blake is Jamaica's fourth fastest man ever at 9.93 seconds.

"Blake is the man ... he's very, very determine. He works very hard and in the future, he'll be very good because you can tell that he really wants it," said Bolt.

The world's fastest man also scoffed at talk by former world record holder, American Tyson Gay that he has found a way to beat him.

According to Gay, his start is a possible area he could use to the beat the current triple world record holder in the 100 metres.

But Bolt said he will still be hard to beat.

"For me it's always the first 50 metres. If I can get out of the blocks and get through by dry phase, it's going to be hard to beat me," he said.
