Twenty-one year old Courtney Smith of Rose Heights
in St. James succumbed to stab wounds on Wednesday after being attacked by a
group of men on Tuesday. The CCN says just before nine o'clock on Tuesday Mr. Smith was walking along a track in the community, when he was attacked and stabbed several times. The police were summoned and he was taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was admitted. However he died Wednesday afternoon. And 24-year-old Jermaine Miller of Seaforth, St. Thomas was shot dead on Salt Lane in Morant Bay Wednesday. The Police say residents heard explosions and called the police. Investigators who responded found Mr. Miller's body on a dirt track with multiple gunshot wounds. His body was removed to the morgue. |
