Leading jockey Dane Nelson
will sit out a one race day ban on Saturday for a riding infraction on June 13. Nelson was penalised for intimidation to ‘Magnifico' and ‘Twenty Nine' while riding ‘Timothy Scott' inside the final furlong of the 8th event on Derby Day. Clive Lynch was stood down for five race days for separate riding infringements on June 20 and May 30. The four day ban is effective July 4 and the one day ban on July 29. |
