A police constable was on Thursday night shot and an
illegal firearm seized during an incident in Old Harbour
Bay, St. Catherine. The policeman was hit in his leg after he and his colleagues were fired on by gunmen while on patrol on Terminal Road shortly after 9 o'clock. It is reported that one of the gunmen ran off leaving an illegal firearm. Terminal Road has been a hot spot following a spate of shootings late last year. |
