 A financial observer is
predicting that 2009 will be an extremely tough year for the country's banking
sector.Lecturer in Economics at the UWI Mona, Darron Thomas, said banks will be hit hard by the downturn in the economy and there could be the possibility of a fall-off in revenues. He said income from main stream activities such as loans is expected to be affected. |
