A judge in St. Vincent and the Grenadines has
reserved sentencing in a case involving two teenagers who stowed away on a LIAT
aircraft. The two boys Wednesday pleaded guilty to charges of trespassing. In court, it was revealed that the boys-ages 11 and 12 scaled the perimeter fence at the ET Joshua Airport on Saturday night, evaded the security personnel on duty and spent the night in a LIAT plane that was parked on the tarmac. It is believed that the boys, helped themselves to snacks kept on board for passengers, before going to sleep on the plane. It was not immediately clear if the doors of the plane were left open or if the boys had gained entrance to the cockpit. |
