passenger, who died aboard a LIAT flight on Friday, has been identified as Joel
Huggins, General Manager of Dominica Electricity Services Limited. Mr. Huggins died while travelling on a flight from Dominica to St. Vincent and the Grenadines via St. Lucia. However, the circumstances leading to his death, which remain the subject of an investigation, were unclear up to late Saturday. Emergency services were called to meet the aircraft on arrival at the ET Joshua Airport in St. Vincent. After a medical examination, Mr. Huggins was pronounced dead. The Antigua based carrier in a release stated that its "trained family assistance team" would be available to offer support to family members, as well as passengers who were aboard the flight. |
