The Grenada
government says a land deal involving British Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton
will not be reviewed any further. Mr. Hamilton's roots on his father's side are Grenadian. The deal, set up by the previous government, was in exchange for using the racing star's image and name at a resort. The administration of Prime Minister Tillman Thomas is scrutinizing several land deals negotiated by the government of former Prime Minister Dr Keith Mitchell. But now the administration appears to be backing off the deal involving Mr. Hamilton. |
