St. James has recorded four murders from late Wednesday night into Thursday, bringing the murder toll there to 110 since the start of the year.

 

The latest victim is a 23-year-old Projects Manager, Patrick Hunter of Bouge.

Its understood that Mr. Hunter's car was found abandoned along the Bogue Hill main road two days ago, after his family members launched a manhunt for him.

His body was found about 8:30 pm near an abandoned house in the King Gate area of the parish with gunshot wounds.

The body was partially decomposed.

In the meantime, on Wednesday afternoon, 28-year-old Rohan Lewis, also known as "Chowlo" of Hendon, Norwood was shot dead.

The police say Mr. Lewis was wanted for questioning in connection with several shootings in the volatile Canterbury community.

He was reportedly facing a murder charge and was linked to a gang operated by Omar Lewis, who has been listed as one of the country's most wanted men.
