Reputed head of the Spanish Town-based Klansman Gang
Tesha Miller is scheduled to return to court on Wednesday where his attorney is
expected to make another application for bail.At his last court appearance, government prosecutors had Miller's case removed from the Gun Court Division of the Half-Way-Tree Criminal Court to the Home Circuit Court in downtown Kingston. Miller who is charged with four counts of murder faces the death penalty if convicted of the January 14, 2005 gun-slaying of three persons along Cresser Lane in Braeton, St Catherine. He is also charged in connection with the April 7, 2004 murder of Robert Haughton. Miller was arrested on July 4th after the police claimed he violated the conditions of his bail. His arrest sparked a violent protest by residents of areas dominated by members of the Klansman gang. Miller found himself in more hot water while behind bars as he was accused of being in possession of a mobile phone at the Horizon Remand Centre on Spanish Town Road. It was reported that the phone was hidden in his rectum. |
