Managing Director of the Bank of Nova Scotia William
"Bill" Clarke is denying reports that he has been fired. Some sections of the media on Friday morning reported that Mr. Clarke had been fired from his job. But in an email to staff a while ago Mr. Clarke said he is still Managing Director and it is business as usual at the commercial bank. Mr. Clarke says he is aware of the rumours but insisted there is no truth to them. RJR News also spoke with other senior officers at the Bank who also insisted that Mr. Clarke was in office and still in charge of the Bank.
