Friday's Paris Golden
League Athletics meet, the fourth of six in the series, has lost much of its
appeal after Asafa Powell and Tyson Gay both pulled out with injuries.World 100 meter record holder Usain Bolt will also miss the meet. However, Olympic 400 metres champion Jeremy Wariner faces a challenge from Lashawn Merritt in what promises to be the major highlight. The meet could also features an appetizing 110 metres hurdles pitting Cuban world record holder Dayron Robles against 2005 world champion Ladji Doucoure. |
